Hi Folks! You know we put a lot of hard work into building this site and our products for you all to enjoy. But we gotta tell you that all this stuff is protected by the copyright laws of the good U.S. of A. This includes, but is not limited to somethin' called Title 17 of the United States Code and the Berne Convention and all treatises and conventions pretaining to intellectual property rights to which the United States is a signatory. It also may contain some of our very valuable logos or marks, which are protected under the Lanham Act and other laws. We want you to enjoy this site but you can't reproduce, post, modify, re-use or transmit all or any part of this stuff, no way, no how, without first receiving written permission from us sayin' that you can. There are some nasty penalties, both civil and criminal, that would apply if you go ahead without our prior written permission. The special section for downloading graphics is an exception to this rule and you have our permission to copy all of it if you like. You can reach us by e-mail if you have any questions.
E-Mail
Speaking of e-mail, we hope you will know that none of the stuff you send us is private. Others (and who knows who they are) may read your messages so don't send credit card numbers, your social security number or other important info by e-mail. Likewise, anything you send us (including any brilliant ideas) belongs to us and may be used or modified by us any which way we like, including reproduction, transmission, publication, and broadcast without compensation.
U.S. Law
Now we know you can read this stuff in Timbuktu, Siberia and other well travelled places of the world. But we're headquartered in a country just south of Canada and north of Mexico and while we don't mind your reading this, our site has been designed to comply with the laws of the United States of America. Period. After all, we'd prefer to use our money to bring you new material rather than to research laws in other places.
Other Legal Stuff
We're all friends and we want to keep it that way, so please keep this site clean: no pornography, defamation, obscenity, libel, profanity, or other icky stuff should be posted or transmitted to this site. Remember, your mom could be surfing the 'Net and you wouldn't want to disappoint her. Likewise, make sure you are of legal drinking age if you plan to visit Kelly's Bar. And you don't rely too heavily on the information we present on the site, we try to keep it updated and accurate but we're not responsible if it ain't so!
Second Thoughts
Ok. Go ahead and copy anything you want, but please give me a link from your page to mine. If you want to use one of our graphics, please copy the file to your server and not link to our copy, my ISP is mad enough about the traffic to this site, we don't need more hits comming from other pages.
